In 2014, Christina began studying the application of autosomal DNA to her own family tree. She quickly became a resource for adoptees and others with unidentified family members and paternity cases. Teaching others the importance of self-acceptance, and how to advocate for themselves, became her purpose and the foundation of Hoodie.
Christina grew up outside of Portland Oregon, moving to the Bay Area to attend college. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Cal State University, East Bay, and began her career in investment banking. Christina and her husband, John, live in Marin County with their daughter, Caelan (16), and sons Jack (15) and Liam (13). In addition to her family, she loves spending time with friends, trail running, and volunteering in her community.
